Pottery wheel taster session, Saturday 8th March 2025 10am-12pm
Ever fancied trying out the pottery wheel? Pop along for an action-packed 2hr taster session!
Our 2hr Saturday morning taster session running from 10am-12pm is just perfect to have a go and see if it’s something you’d like to pursue.
Our talented tutor Rachelle Corker will show you how to ball-up clay, cone, centre, collar-in and pull-up into a cylinder…then it’s over to you to get stuck-in and go for it throw down style! You’ll also learn a bit about the wheel and how it works.
Taster sessions are limited to 6 students so you’ll get plenty of support from your tutor.
Your work will be fired and glazed for you and will be available for collection several weeks after the session.
This taster session is perfect for trying out the wheel, or as a gift…it even makes the perfect fun date!
Things to note - please read before booking:
Adults 18yrs+ only, suitable for complete beginners only.
Please inform us at the time of booking if you have any accessibility requirements (such as being differently abled, reduced mobility, neurodiverse etc) or health issues that we need to be aware of (such as balance issues, low blood pressure, allergies etc).
Tasters are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please check you can attend the date/time before booking as mistakes cannot be rectified afterwards. We cannot provide an alternative date for a missed session as we need tasters to run at full occupancy to keep the lights on and our bellies full!
